4:49pm Thursday 24th April 2008
MAY I say a big thank-you for the St George's Day celebrations in Horley.

Post office an essential part of life
3:43pm Wednesday 23rd April 2008
REGARDING the article on the closure of the Balcombe Road post office, I am sure there are a lot of people in a similar situation as me with mobility and health problems who find the Balcombe Road post office an essential part of life and I for one could not see myself trekking round to Consort Way and standing in an endless queue to avail myself of the service that I get from a local facility.

3:17pm Friday 28th March 2008
I WAS saddened and rather disgusted to learn that the safety banner outside Yattendon School in Horley has been vandalised and removed again.

1:50pm Friday 28th March 2008
AS much my wife and I, as 70-year-old pensioners, appreciate the free bus travel from April 1 (Life, March 26), we understand that Crawley pensioners also have free train travel.

Worship: What really matters
1:48pm Friday 28th March 2008
I CANNOT agree with Marcia Stretch's assertion that the proposed changes to the seating at St Bartholomew's in Horley will adversely affect it as a place of worship (Letters, March 26).
