East Surrey Police have said they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 15-year-old girl from Redhill.

Lacey Crook was last seen by a friend at East Croydon train station at about 2am this morning.

She had previously been spotted by friends in and around the Croydon and Thornton Heath areas.

A police spokeswoman said Lacey left an address in Redhill on Sunday, April 5, at about 5pm, returning briefly the following morning.

She said although Lacey had not returned home since, she had been seen by friends.

Lacey is described as white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build with long, shoulder-length black hair.

She was wearing a red and grey striped jumper, jeans and trainers.

She is known to frequent the Wallington, Croydon and Thornton Heath areas.

Sharon Stone from the East Surrey Missing Persons Unit said: “We know Lacey has many friends in the Croydon and Wallington areas and perhaps she has been staying with you?

“I am appealing for anyone who knows where Lacey is, or thinks they may have seen her, to contact Surrey Police straight away.”

She said: “Lacey is only 15 years old and it is important we establish she is ok.

“If anyone knows anything about Lacey’s whereabouts, or recognises her from the photograph, please contact us immediately on 0845 125 2222, quoting M/09/466.”
