East Surrey Walkers will hold a three-mile amble in Lingfield on Friday, May 16, meeting at 6pm in Gun Pit Road car park, Lingfield, and going via farmland, with optional drinks afterwards at The Cage pub.

The group will hold a 9.5-mile walk at Holmbury St Mary on Saturday, May 17, meeting at 10am at Hurt Wood Control car park, opposite Holmbury St Mary Youth Hostel in Radnor Lane, off the B2126, and walking through Hurt Wood, following the Greensand Way and Greensand Ridge, with views over the Surrey Weald and the South Downs. Walkers should take a picnic with them.
