A children's fancy dress competition and a “Shakespearathon” will be among the attractions when Horley's Archway Theatre holds an open day this month.
The thriving 95-seat theatre under the railway arches in The Drive, Horley, will hold its open day on Sunday, April 27, from 11am to 2pm.
The event will include a raffle, tombola, a children's fancy dress competition on the theme of historical characters, which will be judged at 12.30pm, face painting, tours of the theatre and the “Shakespearathon” on the works of the Bard.
Lunches will also be available, as well as cakes and jewellery, and the bar will be open.
The Archway Theatre mounts ten full productions a year, as well as youth and young adult workshops and productions.
