Youngsters and adults blitzing Nutfield in the village's annual Litter Pick event last month picked up more than 60 bags of rubbish in the area.
Pupils from Nutfield School started the 2014 Village Litter Pick, sponsored by Nutfield Conservation Society, and picked up a total of 15 bags' worth of litter.
The adult Litter Pick continued in the main village roads and lanes over the following weekend and saw a further 50 bags of litter collected.
The big pile of bags was collected by Tandridge District Council.
Thanking all the volunteers who turned out to help keep the village lanes and verges clean, a spokesman for Nutfield Conservation Society said: “One piece of rewarding litter collected was a £10 note, which has been added to the society funds!”
