PROOF that love knows no boundaries was again realised this week when two Runcorn soldiers stationed in Iraq sent Valentine's messages to loved ones back home.
Lance corporals Lee Allen and Dean Walker, both of the 2nd Battalion Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, e-mailed their heartfelt messages to the World from southern Iraq.
Lance Corporal Allen did not want his wife Jennifer to feel left out while he was away on duty.
He said: "To my wife Jennifer Allen, Happy Valentine's. All my love, Lee XXX."
And Lance Corporal Walker was full of apologies for being away from his nearest and dearest.
He wrote: "To Vicky McGee. I'm sorry I can't be with you. I will be home soon and I love you loads babe. RRRR Love dean."
