Heracles moved up to fifth in the Eredivisie table with a 2-1 win over Heerenveen on Friday.
Heerenveen thought they had opened the scoring after 25 minutes when Mitchell Van Bergen crossed for Pelle Van Amersfoot to bundle the ball home, but the goal was ruled out for a foul.
And seconds later the visitors found themselves a goal down after Yuki Kobayashi was adjudged to have fouled Brandley Kuwas in the area and the same player made no mistake from the penalty spot.
Heerenveen got back on level terms with a penalty of their own shortly before half-time, Sam Lammers converting from the spot after Van Bergen was brought down by Lennart Czyborra.
But Heracles scored what proved to be the winner midway through the second half as Adrian Dalmau volleyed beyond a static Walter Hahn.
