Supermarket giants Sainsbury's launched their fifth annual and biggest yet Active Kids vouchers scheme from its store in Redhill.

The chain was celebrating Wray Common Primary School coming top of its leader board for last year's scheme.

The school collected enough Active Kids vouchers to redeem for nearly £15,000 worth of sports equipment.

The scheme is aimed at encouraging kids into a healthy lifestyle of exercise and movement, while giving schools and organisations across the country free sports, cookery and camping equipment, experiences such as dance workshops, and tickets to sporting events.

This year, Sainsbury’s will also be giving away £50 worth of shopping vouchers every five minutes until the end of the scheme on June 3.

All customers who collect Active Kids vouchers will be eligible to enter the £50 shopping vouchers draw by logging their vouchers' unique codes online.
