T.G.I Fridays has revealed its first 'Fridays and go' takeaway location and it's in Scotland

The American restaurant chain announced to fans on Facebook on Wednesday that it will be opening a new 'quick-service restaurant'.

The chain will be opening its new takeaway in Dundee with the branch due to be open in March. 

Posting the announcement on Facebook, TGI Fridays said: "We are SO excited that the first ‘Fridays and Go’ will be opening in March in Dundee, Scotland!

"Our first Quick Service Restaurant will allow our fantastic guests to enjoy Fridays favourites on the move and take that Fridays Feeling with them wherever they go!

"Scroll to see just some of the faves we'll be serving! Eek excited! FridaysFeeling #FridaysAndGo"

Alongside the post, the franchise teased what the restaurant will be serving up to customers when it opens in March. 

The teaser menu included mouthwatering burgers, chicken strips, nachos, hot drinks and more. 

Fans flocked to the comment section to celebrate the takeaway's arrival.

One user tagged their friend, saying: "Looks like we will be road tripping to Dundee"

Paired with a fingers crossed emoji, another customer wrote: "omg hotdogs are on the list lets hope one opens closer."

While another fan shared with multiple threats this entertaining demand: "Either we’re going to Scotland, or they better open one down here soon!"
