ALBION fans will be happy to know that even though Ben White has left the club, he has continued to dislike their rivals.

The defender joined Arsenal during the summer transfer window for £50 million and has been an okay signing for the club so far this season, despite the Gunners problems on the pitch.

Mikel Arteta’s side scored a dramatic equaliser against Crystal Palace on Monday night to rescue a point at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Alexandre Lacazette turned home following White’s deflected goal-bound volley. Following the goal, the Gunners erupted in celebration along with the fans.

Albion and Crystal Palace’s rivalry dates back to the late 1970s when both teams were chasing promotion from the Third Division.

One fan managed to capture some fantastic footage of the moment. In the video, White’s glee at getting one back at Palace is evident to see, much to Albion fans delight.

One Albion fan shared the video on Twitter accompanied by the message saying, “Benji still hates Palace”, which was then followed by a loving emoji.

Another fan said: “Once a seagull, always a seagull”.

Despite White’s ability, Albion have shown no signs of missing the 24-year-old defender.

Graham Potter’s side are currently fourth in the Premier League, winning four of their first eight games and losing only once.

Potter and his Seagulls face their toughest test of the season so far this Saturday as they welcome Manchester City back to the Amex Stadium.
