WINCHESTER man David James Thorne has been jailed for a string of offences including assault on a PCSO and threatening behaviour.
Thorne, 38, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, was sent to prison for 12 weeks after he appeared at magistrates court by video link.
The magistrates in Basingstoke said there had been a "spree" of offending including a deliberate attack on a public servant.
Thorne admitted criminal damage to a Mini Cooper, owned by Jonathan Forse on June 1; assaulting PCSO Dawn Gretton on May 31;, threatening Joshuah Kenway on May 27; and threatening Ian Pascoe on May 287 and 29.
He also pleaded guilty to three shoplifting offences
Thorne was ordered to pay £50 compensation to PCSO Gretton, Mr Kenway and Mr Pascoe. There was no victim surcharge imposed because of lack of means.
