A FORMER Bond girl and Carry On star is to perform a solo show.

Valerie Leon will host Up Front With Valerie Leon at the Komedia, Brighton, on Sunday, November 10.

The actress, from London, starred along two different Bonds – first in 1977’s The Spy Who Loved Me, in which Bond was played by Roger Moore, and then 1983’s Never Say Never Again, where he was portrayed by Sean Connery.

During her career Valerie also appeared in six different Carry On... films; Carry On Up The Khyber, Carry On Camping, Carry On Again Doctor, Carry On Up The Jungle, Carry On Matron and Carry On Girls, which was filmed in Brighton.

The show will revolve around her life and work during the “golden age” of film and television.

It will be illustrated with vintage material from her private archives.

In 1966 the 75-year-old received her first big break in entertainment when she starred alongside Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl at London’s Prince of Wales Theatre.

She has also appeared alongside A-list Hollywood stars such as Michael Caine, in an uncredited role in The Italian Job, and Peter Sellers, as Tanya the Lotus Eater in Revenge Of The Pink Panther, pictured above.

She has appeared in 29 films and television programmes across the course of her 50-year career.

Tickets to Up Front With Valerie Leon are on sale now and cost £15.00.
