A Reigate garden centre has raised hundreds of pounds for the Children’s Trust through its Christmas festivities.
Squire’s, in Buckland on the A25 main road, managed to raise £566 for the children’s charity, part of £13,000 raised for local charities nationwide.
Sarah Squire, Deputy Chairman at Squire’s, said: “Our grotto was incredibly popular and it was great to see our customers show their appreciation.
“Our garden centre staff make their own choice when it comes to which charity to support through the grotto and we certainly agree that each local charity selected very much deserved the wonderful support shown by the local community.”
Donors were thanked with a free visit to Santa, who was resident in his garden centre grotto over the holiday season.
