TV auctioneer Catherine Southon and her colleague Mark Stacey, who have often appeared on the programmes “Flog It” and “Bargain Hunt,” will be in Horley this Sunday (October 27) for an annual fundraising Antique Valuation Day. The Horley Lions Antique Valuation Day is now in its 50th year and is estimated to have raised the equivalent of more than £750,000 for local charities. This year's event will be taking place at the St John Hall in Central Car Park, Victoria Road, on Sunday from 10.30am to 4pm. Catherine Southon and Mark Stacey will be available to give their expert opinions and advice on antique and collectible items. The event entry fee will be £5 per person, but will cover a maximum of five items for valuation. All profits will go to charity. The day is expected to be busy and owners are advised to arrive early. Refreshments will be available. For more information call 0776 688 7236, or visit the Horley Lions website at: www.horleylions.org.uk
