A teenager was beaten unconscious by a gang of three men who fled with his wallet.
The 17-year-old youth was grabbed from behind as he walked along Wootton Bassett Road in Swindon, near to the Carphone Warehouse, at 2.20am yesterday morning.
He was knocked to the ground and punched and kicked into unconsciousness. When he awoke he discovered his wallet, containing his cash card, had gone.
The teen was taken to the Great Western Hospital suffering with a broken nose and a suspected broken right cheekbone.
Two of his attackers were white men and the third of mixed race.
One was wearing blue jeans and the other two black jogging bottoms. Two were wearing white trainers. There is no further description of the men at this time.
