I READ with sadness of your article regarding the death of Reg Clarke. The last time I saw Reg (the former mayor of Thamesdown) was two years ago when I visited him for tea.
While I did not have the opportunity to see him since - as I am now 97 and a resident of Park View, Blunsdon - I am, in fact, a surviving family member as his first cousin and thought I would set the record straight as your article of March 7 on page three advised he had no family.
