TEERE were huge smiles in a family home on Sunday night after a father and daughter team brought home two medals.
Kevin and Georgina Ladley, from Paddock Close, South Darenth, took part in the regional heats of the Modern Pentathlon Biathlon.
In the swimming pool and cross country run, both notched up personal bests.
Georgina came sixth in her class in the 100m swim discipline with a very creditable 1min 15secs and took team silver overall.
Kevin took bronze in the male masters section following a tremendous run on the wind and rain swept playing fields.
Both had enormous successes in the Triathlon event which ran concurrently and involved the added discipline of pistol shooting.
They achieved overall bronze medals covering all classes.
Team Ladley are members of North Kent Modern Pentathlon Club and Georgina, who is sponsored by Darent Valley Lions, runs with Dartford Harriers and swims with Dartford District Swimming Club where Dad is a coach to the junior section.
Their successes day mean they will represent the south east at the national competition being held later this year in Norwich.
