THEY have 12 medals under their black belts. Now a high kicking karate team want to rally other youngsters to take up the sport.
The team from Oxford Sport and Traditional Martial Arts School, who fought their way to victory at the Irish International Open Championships, said the sport was a great way to gain confidence.
They brought home five gold medals, three silver and four bronze from the competition held in Dublin.
Alice Goudie, 15, a four year undefeated national karate champion and gold medallist, said: "It gives people another outlet for their anger but also teaches people respect."
