A video news report about the 10th annual Kingston Breakfast Run proved popular with site visitors this month.
Footage of the run, which attracted more than 5,000 runners, reached number two in the top 10 most viewed videos for April.
It was one of several videos of events involving large numbers of local people to feature in the Newsquest chart.
The third most popular video showed footage of smartly dressed teenagers arriving for their annual spring ball at a school in Weymouth.
Both films were of much talked-about, popular local community events that made interesting and colourful video.
Footage of police raiding a local nightclub in Essex and a clean-up operation following a woodland rave in Wales were also very popular with viewers. Again, both events involved a large number of people.
Also of note in April, was a dramatic video of burning pyjamas to illustrate a new campaign in Darlington and a reader video of Brighton footballer Bas Savage's moonwalking goal celebrations.
The most popular video of the month was footage of a house demolition in south London.
