POLICE today arrested two people in Banbury as part of a crackdown on burglary in the town.

Cherwell's Priority Crime Team carried out a warrant at a house in Bretch Hill Road at 7.30am and arrested a 30 year-old man.

A second man, aged 19, was arrested shortly afterwards, both on suspicion of burglary. They are in police custody being questioned by detectives.

Police said property was recovered from the address which is believed to have been stolen.
