The second half saw East Durham up the tempo with some one touch football tempered with some bone crunching tackles not for the feint of heart, when East Durham won a corner on the right keeper Pounder could only get fingertips to the ball and when it bobbled in the air it was promptly headed home 0-1.Within five minutes East Durham doubled their lead when a speculative shot from distance drilled through a ruck of players keeper Pounder saw it late and the ball squeezed agonisingly through her legs into the back of the net 0-2. Norton far from being down reshuffled their side and pushed East Durham back on the defensive and when Brookes delivered a pacey cross from the right the in rushing Davies just couldn't get the connection on the ball she wanted. Unfortunately time was against Norton as they strived to earn a point and the referees whistle signalled the end of Norton's spirited fightback a total credit to the whole team squad.Final score 1-2 Squad.
