Western Telegraph sport takes a brief look at what went on in Saturday's James Williams Pembrokeshire football league first division.

Merlins Bridge recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Goodwick United at the Racecourse.

Carl Mason opened the scoring with an excellent strike from the edge of the box after 15 minutes.

Ade Smith got the home side's second goal on the half-hour mark.

In the second period Ben Skudder's score struck on the hour mark to secure all three points.

Narberth easily overcame Milford United at Jesse Road by 5-0.

Morgan Preece got his name on the score sheet for the Bluebirds and two goals each from Michael Beynon and Richard Harris, concluding an impressive win.

Narberth are now seven points behind reigning champs Monkton Swifts with two games in hand.

St Ishmaels held off a terrific Neyland comeback to win by a single goal as it finished 2-3.

Tom Carrington and Adam Davies scored for Tish to give them a 2-0 interval lead.

Paul Hannon pulled a goal back for the Nomads at the beginning of the second period.

However, ten minutes from normal time and Tish's goal scoring ace Adam Davies added his second to put Tish 3-1 ahead.

Adam La Rosa pulled a goal back for Neyland but it wasn't enough as the visitors held on for narrow victory.

Bottom of the table Tenby finally got their first win of the season against Solva at the Clicketts, holding on for a dramatic 4-3 victory.

The Seasiders raced into a 4-1 first half lead with a strong wind in their favour.

Goals from Alan Townsend, Beau Pryor and two from Liam Robson made for highly delighted Seasiders.

Chris Cousen's headed Solva's only goal of the half, but it was little consolation as the half time whistle blew.

Solva striker Ben Jones missed a second-half penalty, but defender Richard Bland scored twice to put Solva within a goal of the Seasiders. However, it was Tenby's day as they deservedly clinched their first win!

Tenby's secretary, Dean Hurlow, said: "We are so happy and really looking forward to going for our second win at Carew next week!"
