A PERFECT start set Nestlé Rowntree RUFC on their way to a 19-5 victory at Selby Fourths.
Jim Badwin regathered Rowntree's kick-off to feed Pete Shores who off-loaded to fellow flanker Rob Sellers. He crashed over for probably the fastest try in the club's history. John Atkin converted.
Sellers grabbed a second after number eight Baldwin broke from a five-metre scrum to feed him.
Selby worked hard to get back in the game and were rewarded when their lock and captain charged over for a try from a five-metre penalty.
The only score of the second half came after 'Trees centre John Shinn made a 50-metre break before being bundled into touch close to the line. From the resultant lineout Baldwin seized loose ball and went over with Atkin adding the extras.
