ORGANISERS of a gift and promises auction are asking businesses and members of the public for donations.
The event, on Friday, May 11, is to raise funds for the organ restoration appeal at St James's Church, West Malvern.
Cleaning, refurbishment and tonal enhancement of the organ will cost an estimated £29,000.
Since its launch at the end of 2006, the appeal has raised £14,000 and organisers hope to reach their target by the autumn.
The auction at West Mal-vern Village Hall will be led by a professional auctioneer and starts at 7.30pm.
Anyone donating a gift or service, or helping to sponsor the event, will be included in a special catalogue.
The deadline is Friday, April 20, though items can be collected at a later date.
Chairman of the restoration fund John Raine said: "If you are able to help us with an item or service for the auction, the community of St James's, would be delighted."
Mr Raine is on 01684 565052 or e-mail on j.w. raine@bham.ac.uk.
