Demolition of existing office building and redevelopment to provide 53 no. extra-care apartments with associated facilities (within Class C2), including conversion and alteration of the Grade II Listed Mill House and Granary Buildings, with parking, access, landscaping and other associated works. 18/00808/FLH 31A Burgh Heath Road, Epsom, Surrey

Proposed single-storey side extension. 18/00818/LBA Nonsuch Park Mansion, Nonsuch Park, Ewell Road

1. Removal of a section of a wall between the main corridor and small corridor by the Bedroom 3 (Kitchen) to create a small reception area and access to the Dining Room (Room 3) from the main corridor. Historically, there was a doorway through this wall which is now covered with plasterboard.



2. Moving the kitchen door on the adjacent wall. Together with Change 1, this will permit the creation of a small reception area and opening up access to the Dining Room from the Main Corridor. The walls are made of studwork, non-load bearing.



3. Creation of an en-suite bathroom in Bedroom 1(Room 1) by means of studwork walls.



4. Creation of a doorway from Bedroom 4 to Bathroom 3. This will allow this bedroom to have an en-suite bathroom.



5. Creation of bathroom 3 in the Clock Room by putting in studwork walls with access from the bedroom 4.



6. Creation of bathroom 4 in the Clock Room by putting in studwork walls with access from the bedroom 5 through existing door.



7. Moving a studwork wall between the WC and Bedroom 6 to create more space for the WC.



8. Replacement of the damaged lead soil pipe on the North Side with a heritage cast iron pipe to meet current building regulations.



9. Replacement of the lower part of a sash window from the Clock Room that has been affected by dry rot.

Variation of Condition 2 (Approved drawings and documents) and removal of Condition 21 (Affordable Housing) of planning permission 15/01497/FUL 18/00722/LBA The Clock Tower, 165 -167 High Street, Epsom

Epsom Clock Tower brickwork restoration work will include securing loose brick, taking off any loose work and re-bedding incorporating stainless steel reinforcing bars as bed reinforcement where necessary. Where rebuilding is specified, the wall face will be rebuilt in sections up to 300mm deep using NHL mortar and matching surrounding work. The joints to brick and to stonework to walls will be raked out and re-pointed in areas specified at least 40mm deep. Lime mortar for general re-pointing, bricklaying and re­setting stonework will be 1 part NHL to 3 parts aggregate. Aggregates will be well-graded sharp sand (4mm down to 75 microns) with added sharp aggregate, all from approved source. Pointing to be full and then brushed back slightly after initial set. In addition, the works will include the treatment of the asphalt roofing and minor repairs in several locations. Two number of dome windows in total will be replaced, one in each unit.
