LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
The Sutton (Banstead Road and Park Hill) (Temporary Waiting & Loading Restriction) Order 2017
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that the above Order has been extended by the Secretary of State for Transport.

2. The Order which was made on 2 October 2017 and came into effect on Monday 16 October will now remain in force until the electricity cabling works have been completed or until midnight on 14 July 2018 whichever is sooner.

3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' (to include the suspension of any Parking Bays) in:-

* Banstead Road, Carshalton the suspension of free parking bays on both sides of the road (i.e. between Nos. 60 and 70 Banstead Road and Nos 87 and 93b Banstead Road);
Park Hill on its west side from its junction with Hill Road to the common boundary of Nos. 47 and 49 Park Hill.

Please note that not all of the suspensions will take place at the same time.

4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time When these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) GRANGE VALE, SUTTON

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate installation of traffic calming measures and associated signage and because the works are being executed in the carriageway it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 22 January 2018 with works expecting to take 1 day to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily close Grange Vale, Sutton between its junctions with Grange Road, Sutton and Russell Place.

4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via, Grange Vale, Brighton Road, Mulgrave Road, Worcester Road, Grange Road and vice versa.

5. Vehicle access to properties adjacent to the prohibited length of road will be maintained at all times insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
