BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (BRACKNELL HALF MARATHON) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Sections 16A, 16B and 16C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994) the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along the Roads specified in the Schedule. SCHEDULE
(i) Ringmead from the junction with Finmere to the junction with Earlswood
(ii) South Hill Road from the junction with Beckford Avenue to the Sports Centre Roundabout (on the A322 Bagshot Road)
(iii) Western Road from the junction with Easthampstead Road to the junction with Downmill Road
(iv) Binfield Road from the junction with Jocks Lane to Framptons Bridge roundabout
50 metres in either direction from the point or junction specified:
(v) Roundabout junction of Warfield Road, Harvest Ride and Newell Green
(vi) Roundabout junction of Jigs Lane South and Harvest Ride
(vii) Roundabout junction of Westmoreland Drive, Harvest Ride and Julius Hill
(viii) Junction of Lily Hill Road and Long Hill Road
fix) Farningham and its footpath / cycleway crossing (approx. 75m north of its junction with Hope Avenue)
(x) Nuneaton and its footpath / cycleway crossing (approx. 116m west of its roundabout junction with Savernake Way)
(xi) Junction of Western Road and Downshire Way
(xii) Priestwood Avenue between Windlesham Road and Underhill
(xiii) Moordale Avenue between Windlesham Road and Coppice Green
The purpose of this Order is to facilitate the holding of the Bracknell Half Marathon.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 7th
May 2017 between 8.45am and 14.00pm.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs
are displayed in the road.
