BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (STATION ROUNDABOUT, BRACKNELL] [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING] ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:
i) the circulatory carriageway of roundabout junction of A3095 Church Road, A3095 Bagshot Road and Market Street (Station roundabout);
ii) A3095 Church Road between its roundabout junction with A3095 Bagshot Road & Market Street (Station roundabout) and its roundabout junction with A329 London Road & A3095 Warfield Road (Met Office roundabout);
iii) Station Way for its entire length;
iv) Market Street between its roundabout junction with A3095 Church Road &A3095 Bagshot Road (Station roundabout) and its junction with Station Square;
v) A3095 Bagshot Road between its roundabout junction with A3095 Church Road & Market Street (Station roundabout) and its roundabout junction with A322 Bagshot Road & A322 Downshire Way (Horse & Groom roundabout).
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via A329 Millennium Way, Skimped Hill Lane, A329 Skimped Hill Lane and A322 Downshire Way, or by this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & workforce
safety whilst resurfacing works are carried out are carried
out on Station roundabout and its approaches.
The Order was made on 24th April 2017 and will come into
operation on the 8th May 2017. Although the Order will
have a maximum duration of 6 months, it is currently
programmed that the works requiring a road closure will be
carried out overnight between 8:00pm (20:00) and 6.00am
(06:00) on 8th May to 20th May 2017.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and
markings are displayed in the road.
