CROYDON COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BRITON CRESCENT & BRITON CLOSE, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Installation of a modular building, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking In Briton Crescent and Briton Close, South Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Briton Crescent will be closed to vehicular traffic between the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 26 Briton Crescent and the junction of Briton Crescent and Briton Close;



b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time In Briton Crescent, between the junction with Purley Downs Road the junction with Briton Close, and In Briton Close, between the junction of Briton Crescent and the south-western boundary of No. 22 Briton Crescent;



c) The south-western footway (even-numbered side) of Briton Close will be closed to pedestrian traffic between the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 26 Briton Crescent and the junction of Briton Crescent and Briton Close.



3. The Order will come Into operation on 03 April 2020 and it Is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days between 8am and 6pm each day. However the Order will remain In force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be Indicated by traffic signs.



4. These restrictions shall not apply In respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved In carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable In uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS LEANDER ROAD, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new service connection works by SGN, they Intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Leander Road, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to wait in Leander Road at any time, even for the purposes of loading or unloading goods:-



(a) on the north-west side, between the common boundaries of Nos. 62 and 64 and Nos. 76 and 78 Leander Road;



(b) on the south-east side, between the common boundaries of Nos. 59 and61 and 77 and 79 Leander Road.



3. The Order will come into operation on 17 April 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days between 8am and 4pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS PLOUGH LANE, PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new gas service connection works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Plough Lane, Purley.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed south-eastbound in Plough Lane between its junctions with The Bridle Road and Foxley Lane.



3. During the closure the diversion route will be via Plough Lane, Peaks Hill Rise, Peaks Hill and Foxley Lane as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 17 April 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days between 8am and 6pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate BT Openreach service works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Hartland Way, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Hartland Way at its junction with Shirley Church Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 17 April 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
