ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ALDENHAM 6

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Aldenham 6, from Rendlesham Avenue to Loom Lane, for an approximate distance of 130 metres. Alternative Route: via Rendlesham Avenue, Gills Hill Lane and Loom Lane The purpose of the Order is to enable surfacing works to take place. The section of Footpath Aldenham 6 will be closed on or after 2nd March 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 2 weeks to complete. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ALDENHAM 68
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Aldenham 68, from Watling Street to The Avenue, for an approximate distance of 80 metres. Alternative Route: via Watling Street, The Drive, Beech Avenue and The Avenue The purpose of the Order is to enable bridge examination works to take place. The section of Footpath Aldenham 68 will be closed on or after 3rd March 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take place on Tues 3rd Mar 2020 between 08.00 and 15.00hrs. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BEDFORD STREET, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bedford Street, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because the installation of new utility mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 March 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Haines Way, Watford from its junction with High Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Sheepcot Lane (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 778m. An alternative route will be via High Road and Sheepcot Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of California Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with Florida Close south eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via California Lane, A4140 High Road, Hartsbourne Road and California Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Chase, Watford from its easternmost junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road northwards for a distance of approximately 34m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road and The Chase. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hoylake Gardens, South Oxhey from its junction with Muirfield Road south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 60m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Muirfield Road, Northwick Road, B4542 Prestwick Road and Hoylake Gardens. The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE CYCLEWAY SITUATED ON THE SOUTH EAST SIDE OF B5378 SHENLEY ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycleway situated on the south east side of B5378 Shenley Road, Borehamwood from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.316 Shenley Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 14m (“the Cycleway”). Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway. The Order is needed because electrical works are proposed to be executed near the Cycleway. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN MOVEMENTS FROM RIDGE LANE INTO A411 HEMPSTEAD ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Ridge Lane into A411 Hempstead Road, Watford (“the Roads”) whilst works are in progress and when signs are in place. An alternative route will be via A411 Hempstead Road, the A41 North Western Avenue/M25 (junction 19) roundabout and A411 Hempstead Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall co me into force on 17 February 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
