TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ALDENHAM 54
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
To prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Aldenham 54, that runs over the bridge over the Tykes Water river, for an approximate distance of 30 metres.
Alternative route: via Watling Street and Theobald Street The purpose of the Order is to enable bridge works to take place. The section of Footpath will continue to be closed for up to 6 months until 5th July 2020 or completion of the works whichever is sooner.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH RICKMANSWORTH 59
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Rickmansworth 59, from Stocker’s Farm south to county boundary, for an approximate distance of 340 metres.
Alternative Route: via field alongside closure The purpose of the Order is to enable filming works to take place. The section of Footpath Rickmansworth 59 will be closed on or after 20th January 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 1 year to complete.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE GREEN, CROXLEY GREEN) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Green, Croxley Green from its junction with Little Green Lane south westwards to its junction with Baldwins Lane (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 375 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Little Green Lane, Sarratt Road, Loudwater Lane and The Green. The Order is needed because the installation of new utility mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE CYCLEWAY SITUATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF B4542 PRESTWICK ROAD, SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycleway situated on the north side of B4542 Prestwick Road, South Oxhey from a point 55 metres south east of its junction with Green Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 60 metres (“the Cycleway”). Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway. The Order is needed because utility service installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycleway. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Cycleway. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BUSHEY MILL LANE, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bushey Mill Lane, Watford from a point 20 metres north west of its junction with Southfield Avenue north westwards for a distance of approximately 63 metres (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane, Park Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane, A41 (North Western Avenue/Otterspool Way/North Western Avenue Colne Way/North Western Avenue), A412 St Albans Road and Bushey Mill Lane. The Order is needed because the replacement of existing road panels is proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROUSEBARN LANE, CROXLEY GREEN/WATFORD AND LODGE END, CROXLEY GREEN) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Rousebarn Lane, Croxley Green/Watford from its junction with Lodge End south eastwards, eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 682 metres.
2. that length of Lodge End, Croxley Green from its junction with Rousebarn Lane south westwards for its entire length.
There are no alternative routes available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in these roads will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HAGGERSTON ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER NO.2 2019
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Haggerston Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Rossington Avenue north eastwards for a distance of approximately 37 metres (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Rossington Avenue, Allerton Road and Haggerston Road. The Order is needed because water main connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN TROWLEY RISE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Trowley Rise, Abbots Langley from its junction with Tibbs Hill Road south westwards to its junction with Popes Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 668 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Tibbs Hill Road, High Street, Gallows Hill Lane and Popes Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON GARTLET ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2019 NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gartlet Road, Watford from its junction with Clarendon Road eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Estcourt Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 154 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Clarendon Road, St Johns Road and Estcourt Road or via Clarendon Road, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road, Station Road, Clarendon Road, St Johns Road and Estcourt Road.
ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on this length of Road will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because carriageway and footway improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 January 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
