THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ASCOT ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ascot Road, Watford from apoint 45 metres south east of its junction with the Whippendell Road roundabout south eastwards for adistance of approximately 90 metres ("the Road"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because railway bridge maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using thatlength of Harthall Lane, Bulls Green from its junction with Bedmond Road south westwards for adistance of approximately 530 metres ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bedmond Road, Church Hill, High Street, Toms Lane, Primrose Hill and Harthall Lane.
The Order is needed because utility works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using thatlength of Hornhill Road, Maple Cross from its junction with Chalfont Road southwards and south westwards to its junction with The Hawthorns ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 755 metres.
An alternative route will be via Chalfont Road, Gorelands Lane, Chesham Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Shire Lane and Hornhill Road.
ADDITIONALLYall vehicles are prohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the southbound carriageway of B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey from its junction with the Bushey Hall Road/The Avenue roundabout south westwards to its junction with Heathfield Road ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 132 metres.
An alternative route will be via B462 (Aldenham Road/Hartspring Lane), A41 North Western Avenue, A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill) and B462 Aldenham Road.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 August 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-1. thatlength of Solesbridge Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Sarratt Road south
westwards to its junction with A404 Rickmansworth Road, adistance of approximately

An alternative route will be via MeadowWay, Nightingale Road, A412 Uxbridge Road, the A404 Riverside Drive/Wensum Wayroundabout, A412 Uxbridge Road, Field Wayand BerryLane or via BerryLane, Field Way, A412 Uxbridge Road, Nightingale Road and MeadowWay
10. thatlength of Church Lane/New Road, Sarrattand North Hill, Chorleywood from its junction with Dimmocks Lane south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards for adistance of approximately 2678 metres.

An alternative route will be via Dimmocks Lane, SarrattRoad, Loudwater Lane, The Green, A412 (Scots Hill/Park Road), A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road/Chenies Road) and North Hill.

An alternative route will be via Chorleywood Bottom, Station Approach, Shire Lane and Heronsgate Road.

An alternative route will be via WestburyRoad, The Fairway and Batchworth Lane.
