I’ve just found out that Frank has sadly passed away. I’m so sorry for all his family - such a wonderful man with so many tales to tell. I met Frank this time last year in a cafe in Burgess Hill. I went back to have lunch with him quite a few times and we talked about the north as we were both from there, the war, family and so many other things. It was so special to me as I was suffering very badly from morning sickness at the time and talking to him helped me forget it for a while and got me through those difficult days. I loved seeing him and talking with him so so much and am very thankful that I met him. I had hoped to see him again and introduce him to my daughter but sadly that can’t happen now. Rest in peace, Frank x
