Victim of the vandals again
I WAS saddened and rather disgusted to learn that the safety banner outside Yattendon School in Horley has been vandalised and removed again.
This banner, reminding parents and carers that parking on the yellow lines and zigzags is illegal and dangerous, was originally paid for by the Friends of Yattendon School but was cut loose from the railings within weeks of it being attached.
The children of the school then raised the money for a replacement by holding a mufti day and a green day. The replacement was cut down and chucked over a fence, again within a week.
It was replaced and then cut loose and removed again, within two days.
If anyone has information on who is doing this or where the banner is now they should contact the police or Yattendon school.
