My thanks to the family who came and found me on bank holiday Sunday to tell me my loved Burmese cat had been run over in Oakwood Road.

Unfortunately the head injuries he sustained meant he did not survive but at least that he was with me at the end. Due to the circumstances I did not get their names but they did what they could to help and for that I am grateful.
