Woodard's difficult weekend
WOODARD Racing, of Reigate, endured a difficult weekend at Brands Hatch with an action packed race. Heavy rainfall for the majority of the 40 minutes, plus two safety car periods, resulted in the team finishing 13th overall and fifth in class.
Number one driver Simon Ward said: "Motor racing is a learning curve. Our rivals progressed since Snetterton. The safety car period pushed us down the order, but we're pleased to get the car back in one piece."
Second driver Peter Woodard said: "The conditions made it really difficult. There wasn't any consistency on track and the greasy surface offline made the car difficult to drive."
