A GREAT performance from the whole team secured a win for Smallfield in the Mid Sussex League Cup Final at Haywards Heath's Hanbury Park stadium earlier in the month and, with the 7-1 win in the league against Cuckfield on Sunday securing the Mid Sussex League title, the team has achieved its ambition of doing the double.

The season's successes were celebrated at a presentation ceremony at Smallfield FC attended by team sponsors Brian Gale Associates and Porky's Wholesale Catering, with the awards presented by Chelsea FC's Steve Sidwell.

The team, including award-winners Daniel Plater, Jamie Constable, Jordan Ward and George Hyde are pictured with Steve and Smallfield's youth team manager, John Thoroughgood.
