With only six players available for this league tie it was going to be tough from the start.
This week's practice session focussed on stamina and strength, which clearly paid dividends. Seven goals split between Senior (3), Stevens (2) and Smart (2) were the culmination of honest teamwork.
All the team - Sowton, Case-Green, Smart, Meldrum, Stevens and Senior - worked for each other on a sodden pitch with the main emphasis on passing and moving.
Lad of the match was Stevens for improved awareness and his first goal in competitive open play.
