Sign up for trek along the Downs
THERE is still time for walkers to take part in the YMCA's 24- mile trek along the North Downs between its centre in Redhill and the Guildford YMCA on Sunday, May 25.
It is the second year the charity has held this event and this time it will also include a running option for those who really want to challenge themselves, and a 12-mile option for those who want to take it slightly easier.
The Y2Y challenge is part of a diary of walking and cycling events planned this year by the YMCA to help raise much-needed funds for Heads Together, the charity's free youth counselling service.
For more information and timings of Sunday's Y2Y challenge, contact event organiser Kim Roderick at the YMCA on 01737 779979.
