Tips for family historians
A FAMILY history workshop is being held at Horley Library this Wednesday from 10.30am to noon.
The event aims to help newcomers to family history research or for experienced researchers who have not yet used the internet. Entry is £5.
A second free workshop on Wednesday, May 21, will be hosted by Giles Carey from the Surrey History Centre who will demonstrate the resources available on the Exploring Surrey's Past database.
Non-library members are welcome but basic keyboard and mouse skills are needed. Advance booking is essential on 08456 009 009 or by visiting the library in Victoria Road.
