Redstone back on air
REDSTONE FM, the community radio station for Redhill and Reigate, returns to the airwaves this Saturday at 7am.
It will be the station's fifth temporary broadcast ahead of its application for a full-time FM licence.
The schedule includes guest interviews with Reigate MP Crispin Blunt and other community representatives.
There will also be a one-hour show with borough mayor Dorothy Ross-Tomlin who will talk about her background and her year as mayor while playing some of her favourite records. The programme will be jointly produced with hospital radio broadcaster Radio Redhill.
Station licensee Des Shepherd said: "The next couple of weeks will be a brilliant showcase for community radio and will demonstrate our ability to provide a genuine local service."
The station will broadcast on 87.7FM. Website: www.redstone.fm
