New Horley Women's Institute group's next date

Horley Evening Women's Instititute (WI), which formed in June, will hold its next meeting at the Methodist Church Hall, Victoria Road, Horley, on Wednesday, November 14, at 7.30pm, when a guest speaker from Surrey Air Ambulance will give an insight into their work. Admission £5 for visitors, or £33 a year for women wanting to join.
The group, which has 49 members with ages starting from 30-plus but which welcomes any women over 18, meets every second Wednesday of the month at the venue.
In addition to its main meetings, the WI has groups meeting once a week for activities including baking, knitting, walking and outings.
It will hold its WI Craft Fair at the St John Ambulance Hall in Massetts Road, Horley, on Saturday, December 8, from 10am to 4pm, with handmade items made by WI members on sale, and teas, coffees and homemade cakes available.
Children will also be able to make some craft items and meet Father Christmas.
