Runners and walkers will be under starter's orders in Redhill's Battlebridge Recreation Ground on Sunday, March 21, in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile event.
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council leisure services will be hosting the fundraising event at Battlebridge Athletics Track from 10am.
Featuring one, three and six-mile routes which participants can run, walk, skip or even hop, the event will raise money for Sport Relief. Reigate and Banstead mayor Richard Mantle will start the event, which will also feature children's attractions and other sporting activities and demonstrations.
