Dance teacher returns to her Redhill roots

A dance teacher and choreographer who was brought up in Redhill will return to her home town this Saturday (December 12) with a show in tow.

Ruth Hughes is artistic director of the Springs Dance Company, who will be performing a show based on the well-known poem by TS Eliot, Journey of the Magi, at Redhill Baptist Church.

Ruth used to go to the church when she lived in the town.

Mixing dance, theatre, song and poetry, the two-hour production seeks to reveal the real meaning of Christmas.

Journey of the Magi will start at 6pm and tickets priced £8 and £5 with concessions, are available from the church office on 01737 764065.
