Between 80 and 150 people are expected to dress up as Santa’s while driving classic VW vehicles to raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Trust at Tadworth Court near Reigate.

Taking part annually, the fifth Santa Cruise will take place on Sunday 14th December 2014 for an hour long drive along A and B roads from Sussex to Surrey.

VW Heritage Marketing Manager, Andy Gregory, who has always taken part, says:  ‘’The visual stimulus of perhaps 100 Santa’s is clearly appreciated by the children.. We would encourage anyone with a classic car, a sense of fun, and a willingness to support a good cause to join us”.

The Christmas cruise will begin its journey at the VW Heritage HQ on Dolphin Road in Shoreham and will finish at Tadworth Court near Reigate.

Although many of the participants are VW Heritage staff and management this festive charity event is open to anyone who is willing to wear a Santa’s outfit for the afternoon.

Participants pay £14 per car and £6 per additional Santa suit and all proceeds from the Santa suits are passed directly to the charity in Redhill, last year raising more than £500.
