East Surrey College staff will soon be saddling up in an effort to tackle car congestion in Redhill.
The college, which already runs bicycle servicing courses, has received four new bikes which staff will be able to borrow under the pool bikes for business scheme.
The bikes, along with helmets, are available for short day trips and ideally for employees to trial the two-wheel commute before buying their own.
Chris Long, the college’s Director of Communications said: “We are delighted to have succeeded in our bid for pool bikes for business.
“We have already had some accomplished cyclists amongst the staff offering to be ‘bike buddies’ to the less experienced so we expect this scheme to be very successful.”
