Students from Dunottar School in Reigate have raised £500 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
The enterprising Year 7 youngsters raised funds through activities including holding cake and sweet sales, a lucky dip and a sponsored swim.
Form tutor Susan Gough said: “I’m very proud of the class, who went out of their way to contribute to this worthy cause.”
The aim of the MNDA charity is to improve care and support for people affected by MND. The cause also funds and promotes research into the debilitating condition.
