Two building plots in Horley with planning permission for homes are to be auctioned this month.

With guided freehold at £300,000-plus each, plots one and two at land at 12 Russells Crescent are among 25 lots being sold by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.

Sam Kinloch, senior auction valuer, said: "Planning permission has recently been granted for the redevelopment of the entire site to provide two five-bedroom detached houses with off-road parking. "Planning permission was also granted for the redevelopment of the site to provide nine apartments with associated parking, bin store and cycle store. “To be offered as separate lots, the site is considered to be an excellent development opportunity."

He added: "This is a rare opportunity to acquire two building plots situated in a predominantly residential area, with good access to Horley mainline railway station and Gatwick Airport, less than two miles South-west of the site.

"Given this background, coupled with the planning consents, we anticipate keen interest."

Starting at 11am, the auction will take place at The Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, on Monday, July 28.
