Horley Local History Society has announced a change in its scheduled meeting this month.
The society will welcome Graham Lewington to its meeting in The Strawson Hall at 156 Albert Road, Horley, on Thursday, June 26, at 8pm, to give a talk on the history and conservation of the Wey and Arun Canal.
Mr Lewington's talk replaces that of Leslie Burnett of the Nutfield History Society, whose talk about the history of Nutfield will now be given in October.
Horley Local History Society meets on the fourth Thursday of most months in the Strawson Hall. Website: www.horleyhistory.org.uk
