A teenage boy who was electrocuted on the tracks at Horley Railway Station last week has been named as Jesse Quincey from Redhill.
The 15-year-old is believed to have fallen from the platform and come into contact with the live power rail. He was pronounced dead at the scene on Monday, April 7. Emergency services, British Transport Police (BTP) and Surrey Police were called to the station in Victoria Road after receiving a report of a body on the tracks at 8.41pm. A BTP spokesman said an inquest into the death had been opened and adjourned.
